MCGP Youth Director
The Youth Director at the Muslim Center of Greater Princeton (MCGP) will play a critical role in fostering spiritual growth amongst the youth.
1. Youth Group/Activities & Programs
Build strong, trust-based relationships with youth through active engagement.
Organize weekly halaqas and activities for middle school (ages 10-14) and high school students (ages 15-18).
Facilitate a monthly halaqa for young professionals to address their unique needs and challenges.
Plan and execute monthly youth programs that are inclusive and engaging.
Organize an annual retreat in NJ/PA to foster deeper connections and spiritual growth.
2. Administrative Duties
● Oversee edits of newsletters and flyers, ensuring professional and consistent communication.
● Manage marketing efforts for MCGP events through digital and print channels.
3. Organization of Annual/Bi-Annual Youth Retreat in NJ/PA
4. Provide direct counseling for youth and/or ensure proper counseling services are provided/referred.
5. Supporting Weekend School
Serve as member on Education Committee with focus on character building
Mentor teachers considering youth needs
Review/improve curriculum with Admin Team and experts
Work with experts for Professional Development
6. Strategize and Support Youth Enrichment and MCGP Athletic Club Endeavors
Compensation is commensurate with experience, and dependent on full-time or part-time.
